North Coast-Overcoming Obstacles of Implementing a Successful Safety Program

PROGRAM
This program will teach you the immediate steps you can take in your company to bridge the gap between knowing safety is important and actually implementing a safety program. This program will cover:
* Trends affecting businesses-highlights differences in trends between small and large companies
* Obstacles facing successful implementation of safety programs
* Review two views surrounding safety ‐ regulatory compliance versus cultural impact
* Discussion of the five primary elements of a safety culture, including steps that can be followed to begin implementation
* Building a business case to improve the "buy‐in" from senior leadership
* Closing the "Knowing/Doing" gap for safety program effectiveness
* Safety as a competitive differentiator

Speaker:

Martin Funke has over 15 years safety experience, primarily in high hazard industries
such as construction, logistics and warehousing, manufacturing, and staffing. He
holds an MBA, CSP, and an ARM.
