Getting to the Truth in an AOE/COE Claim discusses the foundation of a questionable claim, whether legitimate or illegitimate.  Consequences of poorly-investigated and non-investigated claims.  Instruction is given in methods of confirming a workplace injury before they occur such as workplace video cameras, talking openly about workers compensation; any misconceptions and a company’s zero-tolerance policy.  We delve further into the subject of the employer-level investigation of a questionable claim for various types of injuries; including subrogation potential in an employer-level investigation and finally how work comp advocacy can reduce the number of questionable AOE/COE claims.

Gus Ortiz has over 25 years of working experience as a claims examiner, field investigator, vocational rehab counselor, consultant and finally as an expert in Medicare compliance and legacy claim resolution.
