Are you a student, age 16 to 24 and interested in exploring HR as a potential career path? Please join us for this free event to connect with seasoned HR Professionals to learn about HR as a career, pathways and educational opportunities. Students will gain great insight as to what it is like to be a culture leader and position of influence for organizations, and can learn from the journey and experience of the HR Mentors at the event. This is a great event to begin to build your network and set yourself up for success in the future.

Our guest speaker Tara Fournier will be talking about the exploration of the career path of HR professionals, from Generalist to CHRO, and the competencies required at each stage of the career path.  Broad overview of trends impacting the profession, including the #MeToo movement, immigration, and other employment laws and regulations that HR professionals must prepare for to be successful. Understanding of the importance of certification, advocacy, HR membership organizations, and other valuable tools and resources to navigate an HR Career.
