Refund/Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be submitted via email to info@sdshrm.org. For chapter educational events, confirmed registrants may cancel and receive a full refund up to three (3) days prior to the event. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received fewer than three (3) days prior to the event. For Annual Conference, confirmed registrants may cancel and receive a full refund, less a $50 administrative fee up to two weeks prior to the event.  Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received fewer than two weeks prior to the event. 

Substitutions/Transfers
Substitutions are permitted by emailing the name of your replacement to info@sdshrm.org prior to the start of the event. If the substitute is not an San Diego SHRM member and the initial registrant paid at the member rates, the difference between the member and the nonmember rate will be due prior to the start of the event.

Photography and Filming Release
When you participate in a San Diego SHRM meeting or event, you enter into an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur.

By entering the meeting or event premises, you consent to photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition or reproduction to be used for newsletters, promotion purposes, telecasts, advertising on websites, social media, or any other purpose by San Diego SHRM and its affiliates and representatives, images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar events in the future, highlight the event and exhibit the capabilities of San Diego SHRM meetings or events.

You release San Diego SHRM, its board members, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, for publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or sound recordings.

By entering the event premises, you waive all rights that you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use exhibition, streaming, webcasting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged.  You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by San Diego SHRM or the person or entity designated to do so by San Diego SHRM.

You have been fully informed or your consent waiver of liability, and release before any meeting or event.
