USD has a beautiful campus but like all college campuses parking sometimes presents a challenge. We don’t want this to be a concern for you the day of the event so we are providing this helpful USD parking guide so you don’t have to stress about parking the day of the event.

As a bonus, our parking sponsor, Jackson Lewis will be covering the cost of parking for the day of the event, but you will need to get a permit at the parking kiosk. From the parking lot you can either take a tram or take a short uphill walk to the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace & Justice.

Use I-5 South Exit Sea World Dr. & Tecolote Rd. Veer left at stoplight toward Morena Blvd. Turn Right onto Morena Turn Left onto Napa Turn Left onto Linda Vista Rd. Turn Left onto Marian Way to USD's West entrance:  Attendant will direct you to the left to go into the West Parking Structure.	Use I-5 North Exit Morena Blvd. (signs will say: Morena Blvd. use I-8 East) Stay to the right and follow the signs for Morena Blvd. Turn Right onto Linda Vista Rd.  Turn Left onto Marian Way to USD's West entrance:  Attendant will direct you to the left to go into the West Parking Structure.	Use I-8 West Exit at Morena Blvd., Turn Right onto Linda Vista Road Turn Left onto Marian Way to USD's West entrance:  Attendant will direct you to the left to go into the West Parking Structure.

PAY STATION VALIDATION CODE: 4256

The validation code is valid in the KIPJ South Parking Lot. Instructions:

1. Be sure to note your license plate prior to approaching a pay station. It may be helpful to take a picture of your license plate beforehand.
2. Upon approaching the pay station, push "Start" if the screen is black. The HOMESCREEN will appear.
3. Push option "1" for PARKING
4. Push option "2" for Enter Validation Code
5. Enter your license plate number and push the green "PRINT" button with a check mark
6. Enter the validation code: 4256 and push the green "PRINT" button with a check mark
7. The expiration time will be displayed, and the transaction is complete. A receipt will be printed for your reference. There is no need to place anything on the vehicle's dashboard.

Trams: There are multiple tram stops for you to take the USD tram up to the hill to KIPJ. The USD Tram comes every 5-10 minutes. Please see this map for more details.
