Too Busy to Harvest? A Workshop on Reclaiming Focus, Rediscovering Joy in Your Work, and Reaping the Rewards You’re moving fast. You're juggling a lot. When you're racing to get things done, what do you miss along the way? What important information tends to slip past you? What assumptions are you making that may be incorrect? Uncovering the answers requires curiosity and a willingness to engage — with the work and with others. Where you consciously choose to focus shapes how effectively you reach your goals. And a purposeful pause, even in the midst of busyness, can help you regain clarity, rediscover joy in your work, and reap the rewards. This webinar, led by an executive coach and author with over 30 years of corporate leadership experience, is an opportunity to reflect on priorities, consider where relationships at work (and elsewhere in life) might be strengthened, and uncover the blind spots holding you back from your best work. You may know that pauses can be powerful, yet how are you applying what you know to your daily work? Expect to leave with new ways of thinking about: - where you can slow down to create more impact,
- how fresh perspectives will open up insights, and
- how prioritizing can help you accomplish more for your organization, your team, and yourself.
Meet your Speaker: Phyllis Sarkaria
Speaker Bio: Phyllis Sarkaria is a certified executive coach, facilitator, and trusted adviser who works with leaders on one of the most consequential — and least examined — gaps in leadership: the distance between how leaders see themselves and how they're actually experienced. Founder of The Sarkaria Group, Phyllis brings more than 30 years of corporate leadership experience to her work, including executive roles in human resources and government affairs. She has led functions as diverse as strategic planning, merger integration, and team effectiveness. Before launching her practice, she served as head of HR and internal coach to C-suite executives at Quidel Corporation, a leading multinational medical diagnostics company. These experiences shaped her deep understanding of organizational dynamics from the inside. She is the author of Courageous Clarity: Navigating the Way Forward on Your Leadership Journey and her new book, Harvest: A Leadership Story. Together, the two books explore what it takes for leaders to close the gap between intention and impact — Courageous Clarity as a practical guide, and Harvest as a story that shows, rather than tells, one leader's journey to greater self-awareness, stronger culture, and more sustainable results.
