Join us for a candid and thought-provoking virtual professional development session featuring authors Dari DeSousa and Dawn Myers as they pull back the curtain on real-world HR challenges most professionals rarely get to discuss openly.

In HR After Dark, Dari and Dawn will guide participants through compelling, real-life case studies drawn from their book—sharing not just what happened, but where leadership struggled, what risks emerged, and how critical decisions were made under pressure. Through an interactive, discussion-based format, attendees will have the opportunity to step into the role of decision-maker—analyzing situations, weighing options, and contributing their perspectives before outcomes are revealed.

This session, “Navigating Real-World HR Challenges: Lessons from the Trenches,” is designed to spark honest dialogue, deepen strategic thinking, and reinforce the evolving role of HR leaders as advisors, risk managers, and culture stewards.

Participants can expect:

  • Real, unfiltered HR scenarios with high-stakes implications
  • Interactive chat-based engagement to share insights and approaches
  • Practical lessons learned from complex organizational challenges
  • Opportunities for peer discussion and Q&A with the presenters

This program is eligible for PDCs, and as an added bonus, a few lucky participants will be selected to receive a complimentary copy of the featured book, awarded to those who actively engage during the session.

Whether you're a seasoned HR leader or an emerging professional, this session will leave you with actionable insights—and a few stories you won’t forget.
