Small Business Stimulus Program Approved by San Diego County
Yesterday, San Diego County announced a new program designed to aid small businesses suffering financial losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible businesses may apply for a grant from the County provided they can show that their losses and costs are a direct result of the pandemic. To be eligible for relief, a business must have:
100 or fewer employees;
Its headquarters in San Diego County;
A minimum one-year operating history as of February 14, 2020; and
Documentation of financial hardship because of COVID-19.
Qualifying businesses may submit applications through October 16, subject to available funding. Employers hard hit by the pandemic are encouraged to apply promptly.
