Navigating the tangled web of laws that apply when a worker is injured can be daunting for even the most seasoned HR Professionals.  This presentation focuses on various requirements imposed by workers compensation laws and the FEHA/ADA when dealing with an ill or injured worker.  It will focus on some of the most common pitfalls and ensure that you walk away with a thorough understanding of your obligations to engage in the interactive process, provide reasonable accommodations, avoid discrimination, and help return employees to work.
